I was raised in a large family where cooking was an intricate part of family gatherings and making people welcome. That is where I learned the art of creating dishes that reflected love and joy. I am originally from northern Arizona and moved to Utah when young and completed my schooling here.
My food choices are more traditional, but after researching I realized that traditional dishes are very difficult to find and often not prepared as they were originally intended to be. This drove me to start my own catering business in 2005, using my best family recipe, Navajo Tacos. Drawing upon my experience in working with various small to large corporations and my focus on delivering personal customer service, Sandy's Kitchen now has been able to serve many weddings, corporate parties and personal events.
Good food is very important at any gathering, small or large. It is what your guests will remember and talk about when they leave. So I strive to have a personal relationship with my customer before we even create a menu. We will discuss your guests, your likes and dislikes, the venue and type of event, while working to stay within your budget.
